Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Manager to support the management and implementation of the marketing strategy.

Working for one of the UKs leading and rapidly growing Veterinary Groups, which is now part of worldwide Mars Inc and one of its first UK pet healthcare businesses in the UK, we are looking to expand our marketing team to support an ever changing and demanding set of business needs. 

This exciting and dynamic role will be responsible for providing marketing strategy, planning and support, and team management across a dedicated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the team and other marketing members to develop the short and long-term marketing strategy

  • Ownership and implementation of the annual marketing plan and marketing strategy for the region with support from the marketing manager and marketing executive – translate goals and objectives into actionable and measurable marketing plans and strategies from data insight provided.

  • Manage, grow and develop the team.

  • Work with the team on the development of the campaigns and ensure sign-off from all relevant stakeholders.

  • Work with the Digital team to determine areas of focus needed for the marketing plan across all digital channels. Monitor and report results and trends to determine short and long-term strategies.

  • Work with the Brand team and creative agencies to ensure that all business units are on brand across all platforms and channels.

  • Take project lead on certain central projects to ensure all channels are maximised and have a clear ROI.

  • Work with the communications team to ensure marketing focuses are communicated and implemented in line with the marketing strategy and plan in place.

  • Ensure key stakeholder communication and management are maintained at all times.

  • Use a variety of reporting tools to monitor and report periodically on performance against marketing metrics.

  • Any other duties as and when required

Person specification

Experience

  • 10 years marketing management experience

  • Experience of a multi-site,  operational  business

  • Commercially minded marketing experience with data driven results

  • Experience of developing and managing brand guidelines

  • Good stakeholder manager and relationship builder across the business

  • Experience of developing clear and consistent messaging and client journeys

  • Experience working collaboratively across a wider business group

Salary Value: £60,000 per annum;
