Nurse Practitioner – Neurosurgery Ambulatory Practice - Full Time Days

Across screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, our nurses drive the sharing of knowledge and practices that make a life-changing difference for patients.

The Nurse Practitioner for the Neurosurgery service is responsible for managing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care as part of the Neurosurgery team. You will direct and coordinate the delivery of quality patient care to our patients. Our Neurosurgeons work with precision, care, and expertise, using the most advanced and minimally invasive procedures available today for treating a broad range of brain and spine disorders. Now, you can join this legendary tradition.

This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, day shift position located at NYP - Queens Medical Groups

Preferred Criteria:

  • Previous RN or NP experience in Neurosurgery or Neuroscience preferred
  • Experience with evaluation and management of patients with spinal disorders is a plus

Required Criteria

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • New York State Registered Nurse License and Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner License
  • Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
