What you will be doing
As part of our continued focus on the Australia and New Zealand market, we are enhancing the Security Engineering Team who work within the Secured Infrastructure capacity to deliver security services at the highest standard for our customers.

Only candidates able to gain or currently holding a current Australian Federal Government Security Clearance at Baseline will be considered for this role. Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
 

Responsibilities

  • To facilitate the onboarding, management, and troubleshooting of the cybersecurity services

  • Assist in high-priority incidents including both infrastructure and security-related

  • Ensure the security services including policies, configuration, and compliance are met or exceed the industry’s best practices

  • Fulfill the daily operational tasks to ensure all managed services are met with the Service Level Agreement

  • Implement and execute tasks to fulfill the project requirements

  • Keep up-to-date with the variety of security technology and trends

  • Liaise with vendors and their technical support/engineering team to provide advanced-level support
     

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Have a good understanding of best security practices including privacy regulatory requirements and information classification.

  • Strong organizational & time management skills; self-motivated and reliable

  • Multi-tasker with strong organization and prioritization skills

  • Strong Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

  • At least 2+ years experience working in IT/OT security operations for medium and/or large enterprises

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience working with Active Directory

  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes (advantage)

  • Experience in an IAM/IGA product such as NetIQ

  • Experience in a scripting language such as PowerShell/ Python/ Perl/ HTML

  • Knowledge of credential vault, password rotation, access control

  • Either: Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Information Technology (Security preferred) OR relevant industry/vendor certifications such as Security+, SSCP, Microsoft AZ-900, Microsoft SC-200

  • Experience in customer service support including the handling and resolution of customer escalations

  • Understanding of Australian ISM, Essential 8, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and/or other industry recognised security frameworks / standards

  • Strong team player that collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporate input from various sources
