What You Will Do:
The Patient Account Rep is responsible for reviewing accounts from the Metrix work queue by contacting the insurance company for resolution and payment, as well as ensure all claim edits in the Waystar billing system and SSI billing system are resolved and billed in 24 hours or less. This position is onsite. Office Hours are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm.

What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or GED

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • CPAR (Certified Patient Account Rep)

  • Prior experience with Metrix, SSI, HealthQuest, and Waystar

  • Experience with reporting, payer contracts, payer websites, and sFax

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • 1+ years’ experience of hospital billing non-government insurances

  • 1+ years’ experience with claim edits and SSI billing system

  • Denials and insurance follow up.

  • MS excel experience.

  • Knowledge and understanding of diagnosis, HCPCS and CPT codes.
