About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr Software Engineer - Full stack developer to join our Chief Operating Office Technology (COO Tech), supporting Regulatory and Policy Affairs portfolio. As a full stack Sr Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in development of solutions for Regulatory Relations and Enterprise Policy Governance Platforms. You’ll bring deep expertise in modern technology practices, a strategic mindset, agile development, and the ability to collaborate with product owners and other technology partner teams.  

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years' experience of Java or .Net applications development
  • 4+ years' experience in responsive UI development using Angular
  • 4+ years SQL Server development experience
  • 3+ years Agile development experience
  • 1+ year experience with Policy, Procedure Management and Governance systems development
  • 1+ year experience in developing code by leveraging GitHub Copilot and Agents
  • 1+ year experience with Aspose software libraries

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Lang Graph and Lang Chain
  • Experience with DevSecOps and SDLC process
  • Experience with content management systems.


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work on-site at approved location listed
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work off hours and weekends as per business needs
