We’re looking for an Information Risk Lead Specialist to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team at MBPS. This role sits within Global Information Risk Management and supports multiple areas of risk as part of a shared team. This role covers key risk domains including Information Risk Management (IRM), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Disaster Recovery (DR).

You will play a key role in providing oversight across third-party and disaster recovery risk activities, ensuring risks are identified, controls are effective, and remediation actions are driven to completion. You’ll work closely with business units, IT, and vendor stakeholders to strengthen risk governance and ensure alignment with global standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent oversight and challenge of risk activities across DR and Third-Party Risk Management, ensuring risks, control gaps, and issues are properly identified
  • Review third-party risk assessments, due diligence, and monitoring activities, ensuring adherence to established frameworks and global standards
  • Monitor and drive completion of remediation actions and corrective action plans (CAPs) across business units, IT, and vendor stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IRM, DR, procurement, and business teams to align on risk expectations, provide guidance, and strengthen risk awareness
  • Support reporting, metrics, and analysis of risk trends across DR and TPRM, providing insights to improve decision-making
  • Contribute to process improvements and enhancements aligned with CoE SOPs, SLAs, and governance frameworks

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Information Risk Management, with strong exposure to Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
  • Solid understanding of third-party risk lifecycle, risk assessments, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts, testing, and risk/control validation is an advantage
  • Familiar with risk tools and processes such as RCSA, incident management, and risk assessments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
  • Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP)
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC
