MSI quality organization is looking for a talented leader to join the the team. Our mission is to lead the quality guidelines and policies and solve quality issues during manufacturing processes.


Job Description

Candidates MUST reside in Guadalajara with availability to work 100% onsite. If you are interested, please submit your CV in English.

This role will follow quality processes to guaranteeing metrics. Will be responsible for solving quality issues in the E2E manufacturing processes and guaranteeing the adaptation of our suppliers to MSI internal guidelines. 

This role requires managing and coordinating cross-functional teams with Supply Chain. Manages quality assurance from the initiation phase through production launch of the product. 

Responsibilities:

  • Possess or develop quality subject matter expert level knowledge and become the established “go-to” contact for quality issues to help identify, evaluate and deploy solutions that are cost effective and meet engineering and business requirements
  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the global Supply Chain and quality guidelines and criteria.
  • Will perform inspections, audits and CAPAs to guaranteeing the adoption of MSI quality guidelines.
  • Demonstrates best practices for developing schedules and recognizes critical path
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables and define resources.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of quality KPIs and status throughout its manufacturing life cycle
  • Present quality status as required to Directors and Sr. Directors within Supply Chain
  • Focus on continuity of quality issues that impact both production and new product introduction.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding interpersonal / relationship management skills coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously within a matrix organization
  • Ability to summarize and clearly communicate quality matters, complex or technical risks/issues, and team recommendations for work partners as well as senior leaders
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of different products and fulfillment models.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management 
  • English proficiency
  • 6+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing environments
