Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. We build the things we design and manufacture in-house, in California. Responsibilities

  • Drive planning and execution of multiple battery programs, including timeline, budget / resource utilization, program definition, tracking and reporting.

  • Primary interface to external customers and facilitator between teams.

  • Drive clear direction and alignment across development team: requirements, priorities, direction and decision making. Ensure strong alignment with customer expectations, program and business goals.

  • Coordinate engineering, customers, suppliers and other business functions with efficient meetings, information flow, dashboards / sources of truth, planning and reporting.

  • Proactively identify, track and manage program risks, resolution and mitigation.

  • Help build the machine: proactively indentify gaps / opportunities and develop Lithos internal processes and way of working to maximize efficiency, alignment and flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. Degree and 8+ years relevant work experience.

  • 4+ years experience driving complex multi-disciplinary engineering programs.

  • Broad familiarity with battery systems - BMS functions, safety considerations

  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, validation and risk retirment, expectations and required maturity level at each phase.

  • Proven ability to coordinate work across Eng disciplines including ME, EE, SW/FW, and Systems. Able to understand their needs and challenges, ensure high level direction, understand risk and drive output.

  • Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships, inside and outside company as well as up and down the org chart.

  • Excellent and concise communication ability with technical teams as well as executive audiences, written and verbal.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with battery systems or other heavy electrical equipment

  • Skilled in Atlassian tools: Jira & Confluence

 

Salary  -165 -200K + Equity - DEO
