Job Title:  Project Leader Patient Safety (System) Converge Administrator

Job Summary

  • Category A: Support Services
  • Job Purpose: Assist and support the Director of Patient Safety and Organizational Readiness and Clinical Senior Project Leader Converge Admin in propelling positive change and an environment of excellence in organizational readiness, patient safety, and customer service. Instrumental in planning, designing, deploying, and diffusing clinical quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization in order to drive successful change.
  • FLSA: Exempt

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field preferred or equivalent work experience can replace the educational requirement

Licenses and/or Certification

  • Active clinical licensure is required.
  • Current certification in performance improvement preferred; Certification as LSSBB, PMP, MHS Silver Fellow, CPHQ, CPPS, or equivalent.

Work Experience

  • 3 years of relevant work experience, including patient safety, risk management, quality management or data management/analytics

Job Roles

  • Responsible for supporting and improving, MHS Event Reporting and Accreditation Software processes to ensure compliance of regulatory standards, alignment with high-reliability processes, and efficiency with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for understanding the use of the Verge platform and all relevant modules. Provide user management and support for all patient safety and compliance activities. This includes serving as a Verge expert resource for the platform and the ability to analyze and prepare aggregated system-level reports through this platform
  • Supports committees and workgroups for MHS related to MHS Event Reporting and Accreditation platform governance.
  • Provide support to workgroups, committees, and taskforces with process improvement and methodology to align with High Reliability and Quality initiatives and key strategic priorities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of project management, process improvement and performance improvement methods spanning multiple approaches [including LEAN, DMAIC, PDSA, brainstorming, etc.]
  • Responsible for using robust process improvement tools and methodology to develop, deploy and diffuse both small and large scale improvement initiatives in alignment with key strategic priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
