Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

A Die Cut Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery to cut, shape, or stamp materials (paper, board, plastic) according to specifications. Key responsibilities include installing dies, adjusting machine settings (speed, pressure), inspecting finished products for quality, and troubleshooting, often in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Operation: Installing dies, setting guides, feeders, and pressure points, and operating machinery to meet production schedules.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy, ensuring clean cuts, and removing defects.
  • Maintenance: Performing daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing dies.
  • Documentation: Recording production data, such as quantities produced, material usage, and time spent, accurately.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, wearing protective gear, and maintaining a clean work area.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
    • Experience: Previous experience in a press department or with industrial machinery is usually required.
    • Technical Skill: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read job orders and blue prints.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials, often in a noisy environment.
    • Attention to Detail: High focus on accuracy to maintain quality standards.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work with others to manage, set up, and troubleshoot machines
