About the Role

Responsible for (1) supervising the complete procurement process, encompassing the review of purchase requests and vendor proposals as well as the implementation of sourcing strategies; (2) overseeing treasury operations to ensure adequate liquidity; and (3) fostering effective communication and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and banking partners.

1. Sourcing and supplier management (50%)

  • Review purchase requests, quotations, and bidding proposals.
  • Implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals.
  • Assist with cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, volume leverage, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and manage purchase requests to ensure spending remains within budgets.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal standards and guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and vendors to obtain required documents for vendor registration in Ariba.
  • Monitor supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing vendors and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.

2. Treasury and Cash Flow Management (50%)

  • Administer bank account management, including account opening and closing, account maintenance, and periodic review of the Company's authorized agents and user access.
  • Support treasury operations, including fund transfers, bank statements, due diligence exercises, and management of service agreements with banks.
  • Review bank charges to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with the Group’s Liquidity Management Standards and Procedures.
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of the Company’s Liquidity Contingency Plan.
  • Monitor and perform monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity above the required threshold.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in matters related to treasury.
