We partner across CommBank to deliver specialist advice and services in finance, audit, treasury, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.
 

Within this, the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides critical financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board.

This role sits at the centre of Group Finance, delivering high-quality reporting and insight to senior leadership. You will play a key role in shaping how Group performance is understood and communicated across the organisation and to the market.
 

You’ll act as a trusted business partner, working closely with Business Unit Finance teams and senior stakeholders to deliver critical reporting outputs and commercial insight.
 

Your Impact:

  • Deliver the Group’s monthly results to the CEO and CFO
  • Co-ordinate and deliver monthly performance dashboards to the ELT and Board
  • Provide insight-driven analysis on key business drivers and Group performance
  • Support half-year and year-end deliverables including Profit Announcement and Annual Report
  • Conduct peer benchmarking, P&L deep dives and strategic analysis
  • Partner with Business Units to provide commercial insights and performance analysis
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Investor Relations, Treasury, Risk and Strategy
  • Drive improvements in reporting processes and efficiency
  • Contribute to a strong, high-performing team culture
     

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Strong General Ledger (GL) experience and a deep understanding of financial reporting fundamentals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound commercial acumen
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • CA / CPA / CFA qualified or near completion
  • Big 4 or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to large, complex organisations
