Mission statement:
Purchase material according to required technical specifications, price delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policy and procedure.
Your responsibilities:
You will select, evaluate CN suppliers for SAAPG for increasing procurement spend (capacity creation and remove the bottleneck for subprocess).
You will execute inquiry, price negotiation with CN suppliers and monitor competitive supplying base in China.
You will manage CN suppliers for SAAPG, help them to meet the target of SAAPG on sourcing volume, savings, On-time delivery and quality, etc;
You will track on contract performance of CN suppliers on quality and on-time delivery and serve as point of contact for escalations between SAAPG operation unit and CN suppliers.
You will align SCM strategies with Global, Hub NAS and make annual supplier audit plan and participate in audit on CN suppliers.
You will negotiate contracts for SAAPG with CN suppliers on issues which are not covered in global contract and coordinate technical development activities to reduce costs, reduce/eliminate quality risks and improve the supply chain, by involving experts.
You will support SAAPG to solve quality problem on material from CN suppliers.

Your background:
You hold bachelor's degree in engineering and Hitachi Energy.
More than 5 years of experience as Supply Chain Management in the similar industry.
Excellent communication and management of customer relations.
Highly organized and efficient coordination skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask across multi projects.
Problem solving & conflict resolution with a sound understanding where escalation is required.
Proven customer orientation, communication & presentation skills.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
