Responsibilities

• • Manage and oversee the livestock business unit operations.
  • Lead daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient livestock production and distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the livestock business in the peruvian market.
  • Create and execute market-specific plans to increase sales and market share in Peru.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Work with other departments (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to meet company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust business strategies accordingly.
  • Track industry shifts and update plans to stay competitive and responsive.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance across operations, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the livestock business unit team.
  • Mentor and direct staff to build capabilities and achieve unit goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the livestock business unit.
  • Plan, allocate, and control financial resources to meet targets and optimize costs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the livestock sector.
  • Seek partnerships, products, or channels that expand revenue and growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Build and sustain strong ties with suppliers, distributors, customers, and regulators.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Evaluate staff performance and give constructive feedback to drive improvement.
  • Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Introduce proven methods and process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee customer-facing processes to deliver excellent service and resolve issues.

 

Qualifications

Required

• • Degree in Veterinary Science or Business administration areas
  • 5 year of experience in the Animal Health market
  • 5 year of experience with strong leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of managing business operations and achieving sales targets
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop business strategies
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred

• • Advanced degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Experience with livestock business operations in other international markets
  • Familiarity with cross-functional team collaboration
  • Experience in the peruvian market
