Senior MCIP Mechanical Engineer
Your Responsibilities:
Support the HW PO organization and Project Managers with VAVE and Design-to-Cost activities to deliver BOM cost at or beyond business case commitments.
Lead material improvement cost for products and meet internal and external customer deliverables.
Design electrical circuits to meet requirements of automotive customers
Identify and develop value design ideas and innovation in processes and tools.
Demonstrate your ability to drive innovation from ideation through Six Sigma processes, identification of product adjacencies, identification and execution of cost savings initiatives through VA/VE & product rationalization.
Identify and execute cost out projects to drive Value Added Value Engineering
Partner with quality assurance to establish product quality standards consistent with the needs of the market
Cross functional interaction required between the product development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance functions in order to achieve cost reductions
Completes complex projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.
Benchmark analysis
Identify Mechanical Special Product Characteristics
Support creation of mechanical models of product
Define and verify Dimensional Management requirements
Create mechanical BOM based on cost improvement ideas
Support bench testing to confirm analysis/simulation results.
Lead efforts to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability
Train and assist engineers
Participate and technical support in Electrical Peer Reviews across various product lines
Provide Technical Leadership for Research and Development activities.
Requirements:
Major in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of CAD Software (Unigraphics, Catia V5);
Understanding of EMC verification and design for manufacturing
Prior experience in tool design and part design
Excellent Time/ Resource Planning skills; good Technical Presentation skills
Fluency in English
Experience working in a laboratory performing testing.
Good presentation skills
MBA, Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile)
