Job Description

As a technical leader, you will lead a group of software and test engineers to develop, and releasing software to our customers. You will collaborate with a global team to deliver value to our customers and use Agile methodologies.

You will be within the Control and Visualization Business, which develops software products that allow industrial automation.

Reporting to Engineering Team Lead

Your Responsibilities:

• Software Architecture and Design: You will define and oversee the system architecture, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and aligned with project goals.
• Code Review: You will conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best development practices.
• Mentorship and Training: You will guide and support team developers, providing mentorship and helping with their professional development.
• Project Management: You will collaborate with other leaders and partners to plan project progress, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• At least 8 years of experience in a software product development environment.
• Experience in large, scalable distributed systems or SaaS solutions
• Software development on Cloud or Mobile platforms
• Object-oriented design using C++, C#, or Java
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Angular framework, and GraphQL, or a similar front-end technology..
• Experience leading technical teams.
• The following – High availability, performance and scalability, micro-services, SOA, modern database architectures, automated test systems, rapid prototyping, experience taking concept to product, Web technologies, security, data communication, and contemporary user interface technologies.
• Software development on Windows or Linux environment.
• Direct experience with design patterns and architecting modular software.
• Direct experience with the Industrial Automation industry.
• Direct experience collaborating with local and global technical development teams.
