What You’ll Do:

You will rent vehicles and recommend products and services at our airport rental counters with a focus on improving customer experience. This includes processing rental contracts, listening carefully to customer needs, and offering options that help customers feel prepared and comfortable during their travels.

You’ll take a consultative, service-first approach to sales—explaining features, answering questions, and recommending add-ons that provide real value. Throughout each interaction, you’ll deliver professional, friendly service that builds trust and long-term customer loyalty.

As a Pick Your Shift employee, you’ll begin with a scheduled, paid onboarding session where you’ll meet the team and get introduced to Avis Budget Group. During onboarding, you’ll complete role-specific online learning and in-person skill assessments to prepare you for success. Once training is complete, you’ll be ready to start selecting the shifts that work best for you.

• Bi-weekly hourly wage plus commission / incentive / bonus plan with unlimited earning potential (New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage)
• Minimum commission guarantee or actual commission, whichever is greater, for the first two months

What We’re Looking For:

• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Professional, engaging, and customer-focused personality
• Comfort recommending options based on customer needs
• Must be able to sit, stand, and type for prolonged periods
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months retail, hospitality, or consultative sales experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
