Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating these into detailed application designs. The role includes actively participating in the planning and development phases to ensure the software solutions align with the intended business processes. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in problem-solving activities, refining application features, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality software that meets organizational goals. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and contributing to the overall success of the project by ensuring that applications are designed thoughtfully and effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation to support application design and development.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate existing applications and suggest improvements to enhance performance and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- Strong understanding of web content management systems and their integration within enterprise environments.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize and extend application functionality.
- Familiarity with backend development concepts and frameworks to support full-stack application design.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application deployment and performance.
- Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
