Job Description

Position Overview

The Market Access Manager will be responsible for strategy development, health economic analyses and preparation of reimbursement dossiers to achieve general use and public funding. Pricing management may be assigned. The tasks will be assignments across all portfolios. The Market Access Manager will lead the projects with dialogue with the authorities, internal stakeholders, health economic model developers in addition to the actual dossier development and execution. Local data generation through national registries will be important moving forward, for inclusion in reimbursement dossiers, as well as documenting real world use, RWE (real world evidence). 

Our Market Access team monitor population demographics and develop solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.

As Market Access Manager you are expected to meet Customers and Key Stakeholders at a regular basis as part of your role

You will leverage modern digital tools and AI-enabled technologies in day-to-day work to analyze information, generate insights, and support evidence-based decisions where applicable. Continuously experiment with, learn, and adapt to new technologies, applying practical improvements and sharing lessons to support business performance and responsible innovation

Primary activities and Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategy development, Request forms (Anmodningsskjema), health economic analyses and preparation of reimbursement dossiers to achieve general use and public funding. 
  • Staying updated on our Company’s products, challenges, and opportunities for access to existing and new products. Suggesting action plans and contributing to effective prioritization; 
  • Ensuring matrix interaction with other functions and being responsive to internal business needs. 
  • Participating in the internal global network around relevant market access matters; Developing own competencies and skills in accordance with the personal development plan. 

You are expected to conduct business in full adherence to applicable laws and regulations, industry codes, and company policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, acting with integrity, maintaining accurate and complete records, protecting confidential information and personal data, and promptly seeking guidance when requirements are unclear. Employees must speak up and report potential misconduct, compliance concerns, or suspected violations through appropriate channels without fear of retaliation, and fully cooperate with any related reviews or investigations.
 

Education, Background & Experience

  • Academic degree in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, medicine/pharmaceutical science or another equivalent with a thorough knowledge of health economics methodology and statistics. 
  • Experience in organizing and analyzing complex data sets is required; Strong analytical skills and a well-structured mindset.
  • Experience in mathematical and health economics modelling from a pharmaceutical company, business consultancy, public health or research organization or reimbursement agency is desirable.
  • Good collaboration and communications skills, able to transform technological/ market access or health economic documentation to simple arguments. 
  • Project management, good execution skills, ability to build and maintain strong networks. 
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian in both written and oral.
