Summary
The Mobile Service Advisor will support the Torque by Ryder product line. The Mobile Operations Service Advisor will be responsible for workflow management for the Torque by Ryder Operations team & Maintenance Specialists. The Mobile Operations Service Advisor will support the Torque management process through timely communications and scheduling, inventory ordering and stocking, repair follow-up and maintenance file management.

Essential Functions

  • Effectively handle all communication between the Maintenance Specialists and Central Support personnel – phone, chat, etc.

  • Is responsible for all clerical duties within the Torque by Ryder operations, including vehicle maintenance files, green files (environmental), packing slips, invoices, receipts, asset database in Asset Tiger, checking larger office tools in/out of office, maintaining safety supplies in the office, and other duties as needed.

  • Work with inventory/asset manager to execute parts inventory management processes, including conducting periodic physical inventory, parts ordering, receiving, stocking, managing purchase orders and parts invoices, and coordinating parts pick-up and delivery.

  • Is responsible for processing all Accounts Payable and non-parts invoices and ensuring any special purchases are promptly submitted, approved and paid.

  • Address any DVIR issues and schedule for follow-up repair, monitor vehicles for routine service and inspections.

  • Enhance productivity through effective work scheduling and planning.

  • Organize and ensure cleanliness in the parts room & office.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possesses a high degree of initiative.

  • Must be self-motivated.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

  • Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

  • Experience using Microsoft word and excel intermediate preferred.


Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.

  • One (1) year or more customer service or comparable experience with issues resolution required.
