Job Details

The Global Senior Product Manager – Structural Heart will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of the product lifecycle for our Structural Heart portfolio of medical devices. This role involves developing and executing global product strategies, ensuring alignment with market needs, and driving product innovation. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, regulatory, and manufacturing to ensure successful product development and commercialization.

Essential Duties

Product Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement global product strategies that align with business goals and market demands.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
     

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and post-market surveillance.

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and ensure timely execution of product plans.
     

Cross-functional Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and product launch success.

  • Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product compliance and excellence.
     

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market data, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product introductions.
     

Product Launch and Commercialization:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans, including go-to-market strategies, sales training, and marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor product performance post-launch and implement improvements as needed.
     

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and P&L.

  • Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to optimize profitability.
     

Regulatory and Compliance:

  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and standards in global markets.

  • Work with regulatory teams to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.

Qualifications

Education

BS or License Certification + 3 years: Business, Marketing, engineering, finance, analytics, RN, CV Tech, other - Required

MBA (or equivalent) : Marketing, Finance, Operations, General Management, Quantitative Business, International - Preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of product management, sales/clinical specialist, other relevant experience in the medical device industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing products, launches, planning cycles through the entire lifecycle.

  • Experience in global market strategy, strategy. Business development, sales and commercialization.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for medical devices.
