THE WORK
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will:
Define firmware/software architecture for components and modules within embedded platforms.
Design, implement, integrate, test and document low‑level drivers, BSP and software components using modern C++.
Apply automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 in daily engineering work.
Flexible:
The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field.
Strong experience in C/C++/Modern C++ for embedded software development.
Practical background in driver/BSP/low‑level software development.
Solid understanding of low‑level embedded software engineering.
Knowledge of RTOS and embedded operating systems.
Experience with gmock or similar frameworks for C++ unit testing.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
Experience with ASPICE (SWE) and Functional Safety (ISO 26262 Part 6).
Knowledge of multi‑core embedded environments.
Familiarity with MISRA, CERT or other static analysis standards.
Python or PyTest skills.
Exposure to TriCore, ARM or POSIX.
