Job Description:

Trouw Nutrition is hiring a permanent full-time Bagger/Warehouse Worker for our Sherwood Park, AB location. The successful candidate will be providing visibility for all aspects of production to other departments.  Will work closely with production staff on the establishment of order priority in accordance with manufacturing requirements and products received.

• Responsible to verify accurate recording of incoming and outgoing products
• Maintain proper stock rotation as per standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Operation of an automated bagging system in a fast-paced work environmen
• Ability to organize the warehouse and Housekeeping.
• Make expected daily picking tonnages
• Completes inventory counts
• Constant quality awareness
• Other duties as required

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 2-3 yrs. experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing industry
• Strong, problem solving and decision making abilities
• Class 5 license an asset
• Willingness to be coached and learn processes
• Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy

Expectation from the Role:

• Full-time; Shift Work Rotation; Overtime as required; Permanent.
• Ability to work shift work is a MUST. Mandatory Shift 10 am - 8 pm and 12 am - 10 am
• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.
• Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
