Workforce Edge is seeking a strategy manager to join Workforce Edge on a temporary basis, typically for three to six months, to drive high-priority strategic initiatives. This strategist will bring structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving to ambiguous questions; conduct market, competitive, and demand analysis; and develop actionable recommendations that guide portfolio and growth decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities
- Conduct market, competitive, and demand/supply analysis to identify the highest-priority opportunities for investment within the assigned project area
- Research and analyze market trends, client data, and industry reports to uncover high-impact product and/or offering gaps
- Define quality standards and frameworks for evaluating programs, credentials, and emerging solutions to guide future investment
- Engage with employer partners to gather insights, validate solution relevance, and iterate based on outcomes and feedback
- Establish clear business cases for growth opportunities by assessing market potential, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
- Partner with Workforce Edge senior leadership on ad hoc projects, as needed
- Stay current on market and competitive intelligence through research and benchmarking, synthesizing findings into actionable insights

Work Experience:
- 2-5 years of top tier management consulting experience / other relevant experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field.
Other:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Typical office setting.
- Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
- Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
- Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
- Access information using a computer.
- Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
- Effectively cope with stressful situations.
- Strong mental acuity.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
