As the Vice President (VP), Business Unit Head (BUH) for Vaccines, you will lead and have ultimate accountability for our largest business unit in Canada, shaping commercial strategy, building strong partnerships, and delivering measurable public health impact.
This complex role provides leadership and direction across multiple teams and at an enterprise level. You will work across functions including medical, regulatory, supply, and market access to drive growth and access. The VP BUH Vaccines sits on the Canada Country Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, Canada, who reports to the Head of International Region, then to the CEO.
Set and deliver the commercial strategy for vaccines in Canada, aligning with global and regional priorities.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive product access, market adoption, and sustainable business results.
Build trusted relationships with public health bodies, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and achievement of commercial targets.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies while maintaining high ethical standards.
Coach and develop a diverse, high-performing team to achieve commercial and organizational goals.

This is primarily an office-based position at the GSK Canada HQ in Mississauga, Ontario, with travel across the country as required.
We are seeking professionals with the following skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
Degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, or related field. Advanced degree is an asset.
Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in vaccines, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare, with progressive leadership roles.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering commercial results.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with public health authorities or healthcare systems.
Financial acumen, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and forecasting.
Master’s degree, MBA, or post-graduate qualification(s) in business management, sales/marketing, and/or leadership.
In depth knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry.
Experience in vaccines, policy, immunization programs, or government contracting.
Experience with market access, pricing, and tender processes
Evidence of managing strategic and operating plans, using Strong data-driven decision-making skills and analytics to guide strategy.
Proven ability to influence change at the enterprise level.
Experience/understanding of the Canadian healthcare market.
French language skills.
