This is a non-union positionEnbridge is hiring a Home Energy Audit Specialist who will act as a liaison for residential gas customers and provide answers to customer energy questions, monitor the installation of energy-related products, and address energy use concerns. The Specialist will perform home energy audits, which consists of home site visits to help a customer determine ways to conserve energy and improve the efficiency of their home by validating the installation and/or adjusting appropriate energy saving measures.

Here’s what you will do:
Resolve issues associated with red tagged gas appliances for identified group of customers (low income or elderly customers) and/or may conduct on site high use investigations, for residential customers.
Participate in territorial community functions.
Occasionally respond to high bill complaints and will administer the Company’s energy efficiency program.
Auditing the installation of energy efficiency measures, paying contractor invoices, monitoring program budgets, and reporting on program results.
Who you are:
You have:
A High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3+ years of customer service/field experience with technical service skills in the Operations job family or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Energy Efficiency and associated programs and rebates.
Strong knowledge of related company safety policies and procedures.
Strong math and technical aptitude.
Strong knowledge of electric and/or gas appliance/equipment installation, operations, and repairs.
Strong organizational and administrative skills. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer services skills.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
You are:
Able to handle customer complaints and resolve problems with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
