About This Internship

Arch’s 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.

About This Role

• Support the distribution team by assisting in streamlining workflow processes.

• Collaborate with distribution team to analyze Business Unit results and understand marketplace trends.

• Assist in building distribution dashboards by working with the National Team, Regional Team, and Strategic Analytics.

• Provide support in areas of reporting and data visualization to strengthen team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Actively completing area of study in Data and Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or related programs.

• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher. 

• College level – current Junior or Senior.

• Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI, strongly preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel, required.

• Exposure to project management fundamentals preferred.

• Exposure to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools preferred.

• Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner. 

• Team player who collaborates effectively.

• Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Location & Work Arrangement 

• The program dates are June 2 - August 8, 2025.

• This position is classified as a hybrid position. You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home. 

• This position is in Alpharetta, GA, Kansas City, MO, Chicago, IL, or New York City, NY.

Timeline

Pay   

For individuals assigned to or hired to work in Alpharetta, GA, Kansas City, MO, Chicago, IL, or New York City, NY, the hourly rate is $22-30 as of the time of posting. The breadth in the range exists to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates and graduate students. Any actual rate offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, along with the education & qualifications of the candidate. The above range may be modified in the future. Intern position is eligible for select Arch benefits.
