Project Manager - Operational Readiness
What you will do

In this vital role you will manage Operational Readiness activities, leading the planning, coordination, execution and tracking of cross-functional workstreams, as well as ensuring integration and alignment with Construction and Commissioning & Qualification workstreams.
Specific responsibilities include developing and integrating readiness plans for multiple workstreams, facilitating activities execution, owning workstream forums, resolving execution challenges, resource coordination, active schedule and risk management, project communications, performance tracking, and lessons learned documentation.
Develop readiness plans, schedules, and risk registers for multiple workstreams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Process Development, Supply Chain, Quality Control)
Map project deliverables, key milestones, and critical dates
Create detailed schedules to ensure clear visibility of critical paths
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align activities, resolve challenges, and identify gaps
Monitor schedule and facilitate forums for efficient workstream execution
Implement communication strategies with standardized tools for proactive project monitoring and reporting
Provide updates to project sponsors and senior leaders
Resolve issues, manage risks, and escalate as needed to maintain project objectives and deliverables
Collaborate with other project managers for cross-functional alignment, including construction and commissioning/qualification workstreams
Provide strategic guidance on project delivery to de-risk and optimize execution
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Project Management experience OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Project Management experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Project Management experience OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Project Management experience OR
Doctorate degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices
Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Visio, Smartsheets, Miro, MS Teams)
Experience managing medium to large-scale projects in a matrix organization
Knowledgeable in biotech DS manufacturing processes and support functions
Skilled in motivating teams to complete complex projects
Adept at working under tight deadlines and managing strategic changes in a fast-paced environment
Effective communicator with project teams, leaders, and external partners
Proficient in building strong relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels
Capable of tactfully negotiating and influencing
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of operational excellence, including continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
PMP Certification a plus

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
