*This position has a 3 day / 12 hour per day shift, alternating M/W/F and T/Th/Sa

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Operate all material handling equipment (including forklifts, order picker, electric and manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, drum dollies).
  • Pick customer orders from pre-printed transfer orders to be shipped/picked up for customer, sales rep, or vendor.
  • Pack, label and prepare orders for shipment. 
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Apply quality control methods to minimize mistakes.
  • Stock incoming product.
  • Locate, move, and restock distributed products as required both physically and in ERP.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, safe work area (i.e., sweeping, emptying trash, general cleanup).
  • Assist with Physical Inventory as scheduled (if necessary).
  • Able to communicate effectively with all employees, customers, vendors, and repair technicians via telephone and in person. Special projects/assignments, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Shipping/receiving or warehousing experience required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Able to operate a forklift (certifiable) preferred
  • Good math skills/paperwork (i.e. hazardous material)
  • Must utilize and abide by safety program guidelines.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required, with or without notice.
