Sales Account Manager

Overview

US Conec is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to support and grow strategic customer relationships across the EMEA region.

In this role, you will drive revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic account development within assigned territories and product lines. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to ensure customer success and alignment with business objectives.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of commercial experience in the fiber optic industry and thrive in customer-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives across assigned accounts

  • Manage selling expenses within approved budgets

  • Develop and grow relationships with Core, Key, and Growth Accounts

  • Establish strong partnerships with technical and commercial decision-makers

  • Align account strategies with customer objectives and US Conec business plans

  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams

  • Support Strategic Account Managers and guide Inside Sales/Customer Service teams

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of fiber optic connectors, cables, and industry standards

  • Promote products using professional selling techniques

  • Participate in trade shows, customer events, and promotional initiatives

  • Identify new product opportunities and provide market intelligence

  • Analyze customer markets to support account planning

  • Provide regular performance reporting to Regional Sales Manager

  • Coordinate resolution of field performance or product-related concerns

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical or engineering field preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fiber optic industry

  • Strong knowledge of fiber optic cables, connectors, and related hardware

  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities

  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region
