Coding:
Requires knowledge of:
Coding standards and guidelines; Coding languages (E.g. JavaScript, Python, C# etc.), frameworks(E.g. ActiveX,.Net, Cocoa, Android application framework etc.), tools(E.g. Monday.com, Linx, Embold etc.) and Platforms (E.g. Microsoft Azure, Apple IOS etc.);Quality, Safety and Security (PCI etc.) standards; Emerging tools and technologies; Telemetry; CI / CD; Code Management Tools; SDLC; Secure SDL frameworks and tools
To adhere to all relevant coding guidelines (Ex: code review processes, code branching strategies, reusability etc.) while writing/configuring code. Create/configure minimalistic (Less Complex, Highly Robust and high quality) code for a component/module under guidance. Maintain records by documenting program development and revisions. Stay updated on the prevalent coding languages and frameworks in the industry outside the immediate scope of delivery. Identify repetitive and routine tasks in (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) CI/CD, Testing or any other process that can be automated. Implement telemetry features as required under guidance. Apply security policy requirements to component/module during code development/configuration.
Testing:
Requires knowledge of:
Test case preparation; Test Objectives; Test Strategy; Test types; Test tools (E.g. - Automation - Selenium, Agile - Jira, Mobile - Eggplant etc.); Test Environment; Root cause analysis; Code Coverage; Test Coverage.
To identify and create test cases for the task/story. Map test cases to business and functional requirements. Comprehend different types of testing and testing tools and can execute them under guidance. Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the component/module under guidance by leveraging relevant test automation techniques.
Program Monitoring:
Requires knowledge of:
Program metrics; Program Reporting, logging tools and processes; Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD)
To ensure adherence to the project against approved milestones and timelines.
Defect Management and Troubleshooting:
Requires knowledge of:
Defect life-cycle process, defect tracking tools and methodologies; Defect reporting; Regression testing; Root cause analysis; Root cause corrective action.
To evaluate test results against desired performance, standards, and usability outcomes. Detect and document defects, bugs and errors for the component/module and conduct analysis to determine source of error under guidance. Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks for the application under guidance. Failovers in case of an issue.
DevOps Orientation:
Requires knowledge of:
Different operating systems; Software maintenance tools and techniques; Application monitoring tools and techniques; Debugging tools; Mock screen; Pseudocodes; Reverse Engineering; Traceability matrix; System performance, security, integration; Data migration and accessibility; Design Methodologies; Telemetry.
To carry out routine maintenance of applications under guidance; Comprehend applicable application monitoring metrics (for example transaction time, system response, transaction volume etc.) and can track and analyze them under guidance; Assist in performing maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering activities; Understand the concept to Maintenance Debt and implications on allied areas.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Summer 2024 Intern at Walmart
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program currently
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025-August 2026
  • 0-1 years of full-time relevant experience (excludes internship and research-based roles)

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
