SUMMARY

The Field Recruiter is responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process that enables the selection of well-qualified, diverse store leaders who will support JOANN’s strategic initiatives, mission and vision. The most qualified candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of the recruiting process and has the ability to be adaptable to change. Additionally, success in the role will be defined by strong relationships with partners such as the field HRBP’s and District Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In an effort to fill open positions within 30 days, the Field Recruiter develops dynamic recruiting strategies for each open Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager position, in partnership with the field HRBP and District Manager.
  • Using quick decision making, the Field Recruiter assess the relevant knowledge, skills, experience and potential of applicants. Once qualified candidates are identified, the Field Recruiter screens and assess the individual and then thoughtfully decides with whom to proceed, based upon the business, the position and team dynamic.
  • Once a candidate is successfully identified, the Field Recruiter manages the remaining steps to ensure a seamless offer and onboarding process.
  • Other miscellaneous, but important tasks include: the participation and project management of field focused recruiting projects. Also, the development and tracking of weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics that is shared with leadership.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Education Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
  •  Experience Required: 0-2 years experience
  • Experience Preferred: 1-2 years experience in corporate/field/agency recruitment
