Job Description

Job Summary

    The Community Liaison is responsible for meeting an international nurse, and their family, at the airport, assisting them to get settled in their apartment, utility set-up (if applicable), applying for an SSN(Social Security Number), pre-employment appointments, shopping, etc.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Facilitate and coordinate the integration of international nurses into the local community.
    • Provide cultural orientation and support to help international nurses adapt to the local customs, traditions, and healthcare practices.
    • Assist international nurses in understanding and aligning with local regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards.
    • Address any concerns or challenges faced by international nurses and act as an advocate on their behalf.
    • Coordinate social events and activities to promote networking and interaction between international nurses and the local community.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the international nurses' community integration activities and progress.
    • Stay updated on immigration laws, visa requirements, and other relevant policies affecting international nurses.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • Associate's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4-7 years of work experience

      Additional Experience

      • Must have excellent customer service experience combined with strong detail orientation and organizational skills
      • Must have a valid driver’s license
      • We provide the Community Liaison with a rental car/van during their services
      • All applicants must be at least 25 years old, due to the company’s rental car insurance policy

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate

        $15.00 - $17.75 Hourly

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
