What you will do
Responsible for the execution of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) operation contract(s) site. Supervise the staff assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response or other contracted activities. Communicate with client and O&M team on all issues concerning execution of the contract. Oversee all subcontractors and vendors completing assigned work throughout the facility.
How you will do it
Responsible for training and supervising the FM staff needed to fulfill O&M contractual obligations.
Responsible for overseeing the programming and monitoring alarm responses and mechanical operations.
Responsible for HVAC, mechanical, fire, security systems, etc.
Communicates with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintains and updates all assigned systems.
Develops and implements an employee training (EH&S, WAH, Raised Platform, Fire Panel, etc].
Provides regular management reports as requested by the O&M team and the client and participates in the monthly site reporting.
Attends appropriate client meetings as required.
Required to be on call 24/7 as an emergency resource to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.
Ensures compliance to all city, provincial, and federal license and certification requirements.
Works with Planner Scheduler to maintain and submit all records and documents to proper authorities.
Works with Customer Business Manager to coordinate all activities.
Reviews all FM work and assures performance in accordance with established safety procedures.
Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
Performs other duties as required.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
Five or more years of experience in operations and maintenance.
Able to program and operate Building Automation Systems.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Able to manage and train facilities personnel.
Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.
Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
