GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This role is responsible for defining the product’s fundamental value proposition, outlining its vision and execution plan for new products within AHN. This individual gains alignment and support from key strategic partners and stakeholders, and oversees the execution of that vision from concept to adoption.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Product Vision & Roadmap: Understand the department's and Highmark Health's strategic roadmap, competitive position, and the unique needs of AHN to develop a holistic product vision and corresponding product strategy that drives maximum value for patients and clinicians. Clearly set and communicate roadmaps, priorities, pilots/experiments, and critical decisions across all relevant audiences, from product teams to executive levels. (20%)
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Proactively manage relationships with key internal stakeholders, including enGen and Clinical Informatics, gather requirements, build collaborative solutions, and ensure alignment. Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendor relationships crucial for product development, ensuring solutions meet AHN's strategic objectives and technical standards. (20%)
Product Ownership & Delivery: Serve as the accountable owner for designated products/tools within the portfolio. Guides Agile development as the Product Owner, owning the product backlog and using input from internal teams, partners, and vendors to frequently refresh and re-prioritize to deliver iterative value. (20%)
Performance Monitoring & Governance: Represent the product in all governance meetings, providing regular updates on progress, performance, and key decisions. Monitor product performance post-launch, leveraging data and feedback to iterate and optimize features, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery. (15%)
Identify and drive both cross-product and cross-customer value and shared learnings within the Highmark Health enterprise. (15%)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technology, or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
3 years of Product or Program/Portfolio Management experience
To include:
3 years of experience with the Product/Process Lifecycle
1 year of Advanced domain experience
Preferred
1 year of experience with the Agile process
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification
