JOB SUMMARY:

The National Account Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a defined multi-state territory, whereby they represent and sell the service lines for VirtuOx. They work closely with DME channel partners to find new prospects and sales leads for conversion into paying customers.  Approximately 80% of their time is attributed to inside sales, with the balance being spent in the field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist manager in the development of individual territory sales & revenue goals.
  • Invest sufficient time and effort to achieve the established territory goals.
  • Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for daily calls, software demonstrations, webinars, sales goals, etc.
  • Train & support DME sales teams who work collaboratively to promote Virtuox.
  • Regularly visit DME sales teams at their area and regional meetings.
  • Provide frequent feedback, communication, and customer utilization data to DME sales teams.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers through cold calling and inbound leads.
  • Schedule and complete webinars and software demonstrations.
  • Represent VirtuOx at national and/or local industry conferences, if applicable.
  • Overnight attendance at sales training meetings, if applicable.
  • Maintain and manage all up-to-date information in CRM software.
  • Provide daily updates and reports of activities and business opportunities.
  • Ensure all required documentation, reports etc. are timely and accurate.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of all VirtuOx products/services and related disease states.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with customers.
  • Project a professional business image as demonstrated by neat physical appearance, and appropriate manner of speech.
  • Maintain all company-provided equipment in good operating condition.
  • Recognize changes in the work environment, to develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives.
  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed by the VirtuOx Leadership team.

  • Works closely with DME sales representatives in the territory.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with key customers and external contacts.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours to meet the requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Must be willing to travel 25% or as needed.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer as needed.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

BS/BA Degree Required

Experience:

  • 1 + years of pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare or related experience preferred
  • Experience with selling DME, diagnostic services, products, or healthcare technology to physician offices or hospitals is preferred.
  • Have a dependable automobile with adequate insurance.
  • Strong customer focus demonstrated teamwork/ collaboration.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Working knowledge of medical industry.
