The Director, Field Sales East will provide leadership and coaching to the 8 current Business Development Managers and Associates in the Eastern part of the US. This person will be responsible for hiring, training, developing and leading the team, create goals, provide coaching and accountability to the team. In addition this person will also be responsible for developing a strategy to drive revenue growth by expanding our market presence as well as manage higher level relationships within our National Accounts in the Eastern region. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead, mentor and continue to build a high performing team to achieve quarterly and annual goals 
  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with insurance carriers, attorneys, and brokers to drive business growth
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, track progress against targets and provide regular reporting and insight to the executive leadership team
  • Coach all team members to be efficient in their activities to drive referrals (future revenue) or members (current revenue).
  • Help the team build quarterly business plans to include all stakeholders within their assigned territory.
  • Set communication cadence with the team to set expectations, measure results and create action plans.
Requirements

 10+ years of Sales experience in Workers' Comp, Medicare, or related industries. Of these 10 years of work experience, candidates must possess: 

  • 7+ years of successful sales management experience of field/outside sales teams
  • Excellent management skills, ability to analyze information and make decisions based on sound business practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Located on the East Coast of the United States
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% 

The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000USD to $185,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
