Dow Consumer Solution (DCS) has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a customer (account) Manager, focused on solutions to Korea Customers/Markets with technologies & products they need to achieve a number of high-performance attributes across 6 key market segments,  and this role will focus on Home and Personal Care(HPC) market . Our vast technical resources deliver on current and future needs through application expertise and innovation aligned to 6 core competencies.

About You

We are looking for a Customer (Account) Manager with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and communication skills. In this role you will have the responsibility to support the growth of the Consumer Solution for Home & Personal Care – especially Cosmetics field for as well as Home Care under different segments as- which generates new opportunities through revitalizing the asset and Dow’s technology to seek significant opportunities as deceptive market changes to enable growth and addressable market expansion.

You will coordinate across all functions, including sales, Marketing, TS&D, R&D, communication, and product management as well as with peers, key customers, distributors, and relevant teams in the other geographies. You will have high visibility to the leadership team in Consumer Solution Korea, providing analysis, insight and recommendations on how to advance the growth strategy.

Also, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Support and shape the growth strategy for the Consumer Solution Japan business

  • Conduct market and industry analysis to shape overall competitive position and identify opportunities for growth

  • Aggregate customer and market needs across the product portfolio and market segments to identify trends to enhance resource allocation and prioritization

  • Analyze and define the best opportunity for addressable market expansion for the Consumer Solution Business

  • Evaluate business model opportunities – especially digital – to accelerate growth and/or productivity

  • Serve as a trusted advisor across the organization, providing guidance on how to build a competitive advantage despite market and customer uncertainties

  • Author project proposals that will help the business test and learn how to capture additional value in Specialties

Your knowledge, skills and abilities include:

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience – Personal care or Home care field or related field.

  • Up to 50% travel, mostly domestic

  • Fluency in Korean, Advanced Level in verbal and written English

Your preferred qualifications include:

  • A degree discipline in Chemical, business or Marketing

  • MBA/economic background is a plus
