Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $86,600.00 - $129,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer I, you’ll be joining a team of passionate technologists who are building the future of automotive retail. This is your chance to work on real-world projects from day one, using cutting-edge tools and technologies like AWS, AI/ML, and GitHub Copilot. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle—designing, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications that make a real impact.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include: 

  • Collaborating with experienced engineers and product teams to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.  

  • Writing clean, efficient code in languages like Java, Python, or TypeScript.  

  • Leveraging AWS Cloud to build modern, resilient systems.  

  • Using AI tools like GitHub Copilot to boost your productivity and creativity.  

  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment. 

  • Learning and growing every day in a supportive, fast-paced environment.  

 

What We’re Looking For: 

 

Must-Haves: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different  combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field  

  • Requires strong knowledge of AWS  

  • Excellent presentation  skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization  

  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and object-oriented programming.   

  • Requires strong knowledge of one modern programming language (python, javascript, etc 

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.   

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization  

  • Accelerate development of high quality products and features by leveraging AI   

 

Nice-to-Haves: 

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (especially AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.  

  • Interest in AI/ML and how it can enhance software development.  

  • Experience with Git and agile development practices.  

  • Understanding of APIs, web services, or microservices.
