Position Summary

1. Contribute to expanding the product's market coverage by setting up a product line-up operation plan.
2. Contribute to maximizing sales and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy to meet the target sales for the product.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Objectives:

Responsible for maintaining & developing the business with clear objective of achieving the company’s product strategy in DA Division.

  • Achievement of the Department KPIs (Revenue, Profit, Market share)
  • Achievement of strategic products targets.

Skills and Qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

  • Present the action plans to the local sales team; train, motivate and challenge them to achieve the targeted result; develop their product knowledge
  • Analyze, together with the Sales, retail & Marketing Managers, the market data, panel research/trends and sales figures.
  • Identify local opportunities and recommendations based on analysis of market data and field research
  • Defend & manage the profitability of each product category, quarterly & yearly targets (Sales & Profit)
  • Establish assortment and product price positioning in-line with the company’s marketing policy and according to the local market expectations.
  • Prepare new product launches, with main focus on strategic models’ sales and awareness.
  • Organize regular customer visits in order to keep close contact with the market and remain aware of market/competitor/customer movements.
  • Have full authority for material cost, factory.
  • Build “Plan” for each month/quarter & total year; along with suggested plans to achieve it.
  • Looking for new business opportunities & projects to enhance brand power & sales.
  • Prepare the product strategy for each country & product category, to be aligned with top management & office directions.
  • Communicate with offices in regular bases (Daily, weekly) to have full update from both sides about the market, prices & any new guidelines & strategies.

 Experience, Education and Licensure:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in business or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in consumer electronics industry in the same position or FMCG.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus and strong ability to engage and communicate with all CE channel actors (partners, dealers, salesmen & end-users)
  • Excellent PC skills- Excel, PowerPoint and good presentation skills is a must.
  • Understanding of the local market is required hence local experience will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of some or all of products: Home Appliances.
  • Ability to perform and work under different conditions and a team player
