Job Summary
This position drives effectively the monthly demand and operational planning processes, inventory optimization, monitors and collaborates with supply chain to ensure business plans are implemented in ANI Taiwan successfully, and ensure the related capabilities are update.
Main Responsibilities: *
Manage the overall demand planning and S&OP requirements for Abbott Nutrition including input to rolling Latest Business Estimate (rLBE) and Forecast preparation. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy.
Lead S&OP / Demand Review and coordinate product channel/customer allocation process Bring together all the plans for the business (customers, sales, marketing, servicing & financial) into integrated set of plans to be presented and analyzed within the S&OP process, reviewing and challenging assumptions, vulnerabilities and opportunities.
Responsible for strategic demand planning & analysis market data to maximize inventory turns, reduce returns and bad goods, ensure a high quality forecast within nutrition business, for To-Market Sales (TMS), In-Market-Sales (IMS) and consumer offtake. Co-ordinate.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams, marketing Insights, regulatory, Area planners, and local supply chain teams striving to provide and accurate demand signal.
Recommend and implement improvement opportunities to the existing S&OP process at affiliate level. Build a consistent baseline forecast using model‐ing or at least sell-in history analysis and the input of marketing and sales (media plan, promo plan, launch plan, analysis on cannibalization effect, shade split).
Lead and co-ordinate NPI phase-in/out plans according to business plan to maximize product availability launch success and minimize return and bad goods
Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to demand planning processes/operations; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management
Run projects to drive improvements and simplification / automation
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop team member to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
Skills & Experience Required:*
Bachelor’s degree in financial/accounting/business administrations or relevant degrees. An advanced credential, such as an MBA, MA, or MS in a relevant discipline preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience working in finance/demand planning including recent experience with >USD 100MM fast moving physical goods with complex/large scale portfolio
ERP usage experience / ERP-WMS interfacing experience
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
Proven success in improving work processes, leading change and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent skills in a complex and fast paced environment
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results
Has good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English
Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable
Strong conflict resolution skills to achieve results through cross-functional groups
