We provide niche audience groups with information that helps them take better decisions and operate more effectively.

These brands cater to the needs of fund management professionals, financial advisers, banking professionals, economic development professionals, US corporate boards and personal investors through a range of publications, websites, services and events. 

The role

Work with the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager to create and execute marketing strategies that drive registrations for FT Specialist events, including conferences, awards, and webinars. Key responsibilities include conducting targeted marketing outreach, managing delegate acquisition campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-calibre audiences and boost delegate revenue. You’ll also support the event sales team by providing media kits, audience data, and insights to enhance outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, manage, and analyse print and digital marketing activities to drive event registrations.
  • Collaborate with the FT Live design team to produce flawless marketing collateral, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with different internal collaborators to ensure effective teamwork in improving the quality, reach, and integration of communications.
  • Stay current with sector and industry trends to ensure marketing strategies are up-to-date and effective.
  • Support the event sales team by crafting media kits and providing audience information and data.

Key skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Outstanding creative judgment and copywriting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships across the organization.
  • Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High energy, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in digital marketing and events, including organic and paid social media campaigns, is desirable.
  • Knowledge of media/publishing and a marketing-related qualification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in event marketing is preferred.
