Summary:

In this role, you will manage the business planning and product life-cycle management for Vizient solutions and products that connect to provider source systems. You will collaborate with leadership to supervise product strategy for Vizient offerings that pull or push data to provider source systems such as electronic medical records (EMRs) or Enterprise Resource Products (ERPs).

Responsibilities:      

• Work with providers to gather requirements and support product development.
• Interpret data, internal stakeholder input, voice of customer, and regulatory environment to make business decisions and recommendations for product life cycle.
• Coordinate both internal and external communication and project planning for Vizient interoperability and data acquisition offerings.
• Partner with application development and project management teams to translate business requirements into technical language for development. Prioritize backlog appropriately to ensure critical features are completed on time and within budget and can support financial goals.
• Enable effective agile development by filling role of Product Owner in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and SCRUM ceremonies.
• Engage with users, delivery, and sales channels to maintain a thoughtful backlog prioritization that provides maximum value to product viability.
• Collect and analyze the regulatory environment, competitive intelligence, marketing research, market trends, and other data points associated with data acquisition and interoperability offerings.
• Participate in recruitment and management of pilot and test providers.
• Collaborate with product delivery, marketing, sales and other business functions to establish launch plans and communication strategies.
• Develop documentation for products and services related to data acquisition and interoperability.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. MBA, MPH or MHA desired.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in a product management/product ownership role required.
• Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Experience working on Agile development team preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team of Product Managers.
• Ability to work with data specifications and data mapping between systems desired.
• Experience developing data and digital products desired.
• Experience with EMR’s, ERP’s interoperability software or data standards preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
