JOB SUMMARY:


The Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A Team. Whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics via data visualization, the work from this role will be used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. The role will work on multiple projects at a time, discovering creative ways to take on big picture challenges. This candidate will also be responsible for working with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for company growth based on in-depth financial analyses. The ideal candidate will be highly investigative, creative, and have a demonstrated ability to work cross-departmentally to produce high-end financial modeling and reporting.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or closely related field


EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant or closely related occupation required
  • 2 months of experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial reporting required
  • Experience in FP&A, budgeting and cost analysis to support strategic decisions


SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, variance analysis, financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as this position will be interacting with various departments within the company
  • Highly organized with an attention to details. The ability to adapt to and lead change in a business environment is also critical.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Excel (including VBA macros) required
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple initiates/projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • ·Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Finance team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and service line leaders to track and forecast trends in the business and their impact on the financial statements.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and operating metrics in support of company’s regular financial results meetings, sponsor meetings, and operational reviews.
  • Perform business segment reviews by building operational and financial reporting tools to support operations and executive decision making.
  • Assist with the annual budget process, monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting processes, variance analysis, and cost-saving. Review financial data for accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and submit reports.
  • Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.
