We are looking for a Supervisor HR Ops – New Hires M&A North America to join our team.

What will you do?

You will lead and manage the New Hires M&A team for North America, ensuring all onboarding processes for new employees meet compliance and data accuracy standards. This includes overseeing background checks, E-Verify (for U.S. hires), and validating accurate hire data in Workday. You will serve as the primary point of contact for HR operations related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of new hires into Johnson Controls.

How will you do it?

  • Supervise and coordinate the team responsible for onboarding new hires within M&A activities across North America.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements, including background checks and E-Verify for U.S. employees.

  • Validate and maintain accurate employee data in Workday throughout the hiring process.

  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to resolve onboarding issues and ensure a smooth experience for new employees.

  • Monitor process performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on onboarding metrics and compliance status to leadership.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or onboarding processes.

  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for hiring in North America, including E-Verify and background checks.

  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS systems.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
