Overview

TNS is seeking a Software Developer with 7+ years of experience in C/C++ and Java to contribute across the full software lifecycle, with a strong focus on software development, systems architecture, component integration, CI/CD implementation, and enhancing application security for Payment's processing in close collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Must have strong C/C++, Java, Linux and computer science fundamentals like algorithms, data structuress, multi-threading, OOPS concepts,
• Hands-on experience in programming methodologies and implementations like, Finite State Machine, Inter Process Communications, Timers, Signals threads etc.…
• Has Linux TCP/IP socket programming and implementation experience. Familiar with Network topology, network, system and data security
• Very knowledgeable on the Linux Operating system (CentOS distribution)
• Programming scripting experience with Perl, Python, JavaScript and use of REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong technical software background with good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with ability to meet deadlines
• Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
• Design, code high quality software components and document them in accordance with organizational standards, technical requirements, and detailed designs that meet industry standards. • Be able to work in an independent manner as part of an Agile scrum team
• Be able to research technical solutions and recommend options with appropriate reasoning
• Work with the DevOps team and other teams to define and standardize on tools and methodology around TNS CI/CD strategy
• Familiarity with Virtualization, Docker/Containers, Microservices and Cloud Technologies

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ Years of experience
• Desirable to have Payment Industry knowledge will be preferred E.g. Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI)standards and some payment card specifications
• Desirable to have experience with Databases like MySQL/Microsoft SQL/Oracle/Redis
• Familiarity with Data Encryption and programming experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
• Familiarity with Payment tech like card-data encryption, digital wallets, tokenization, settlement process
