In This Role

• Coordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate 
• Prepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, packing lists, and delivery documents 
• Build and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operations 
• Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination information 
• Communicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and execution 
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update system information as needed 
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner 
• Support inventory and shipping audits as required 
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures 
• Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

• 1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferred 
• High school diploma or GED required 
• Experience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperwork 
• Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications 
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
• Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads 
• Willingness to work overtime as needed 
• Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
