About the Role
We seek driven, tech-savvy recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related fields to join our cutting-edge application support team. As a Junior Application Support Engineer you'll work on Thomson Reuters' impactful assets, collaborating with exceptional systems engineers, software developers, DevOps engineers, and technology managers.
In this role, you'll apply educational skills to solve technical challenges leveraging technology and people skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
System Monitoring and Response: Monitoring the health and performance of systems, applications, and infrastructure, and responding to incidents or issues promptly to ensure high availability and reliability.
Automation: Developing and implementing automation tools and processes to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
Incident Management: Investigating and resolving incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices within the team and across the organization.
Security and Compliance: Ensuring systems and processes comply with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing changes, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
