Job Description

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Developing and leading the plant’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs and execution.

  • Formulating and developing goals and directing day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities at the plant.

  • Initiating and driving mechanical and electrical enhancements and improvements in the plant.

  • Determining equipment and manpower requirements for daily operational needs.

  • Analyzing and troubleshooting major downtime events using structured problem-solving tools.

  • Setting and monitoring maintenance performance targets both short and long term.

  • Providing highly developed leadership, change management, interpersonal communication, and people skills to help drive plant performance.

  • Providing a trained and motivated maintenance workforce capable of implementing the plant’s business strategy.

  • Addressing all safety concerns either raised by employees or from safety audits. Advise employees of any potential or actual hazards.

  • Completing Incident Investigations and ensure corrective measures are taken when necessary.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; 

  • Associate degree in Industrial maintenance-preferably electrical or > 10 years supervisory experience.

  • 5-10 years of maintenance leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Experience in holding employees accountable for working safely and providing a safe work environment.

  • Experience, knowledge or trained in Reliability Maintenance and 5S.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.

  • Strong knowledge of CMMS programs such as Maximo

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, JDE, or equivalent ERP and management systems.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to grow and mentor maintenance technicians.

  • Possesses strong maintenance/engineering and financial acumen.
