What you'll do

As Release Train Manager, you’ll be developing and maintaining the release train. You’ll be managing and optimising the flow of business value delivery of programmes using Agile tools and techniques.

You will work with various stakeholders and share the technical expertise within an agile, collaborative organization. You will join our bank as it's transforming its architecture, pushing forward with innovative solutions in various technologies. You will be joining Release Management Core team, providing release, environment and batch engineering services for the Avaloq platform.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Driving continuous improvement across delivery via various channels, improving or removing manual steps and enhancing the deployment and management phases of the development lifecycle
• Building and communicating release calendars and iterative planning cycles, synchronising with other release train managers across domains
• Assisting with the execution and delivery of business outcomes, features and capabilities by reporting, escalating and tracking impediments

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you'll have an expert understanding of running complex projects spanning multiple scrum and non-scrum teams. You’ll look after all tasks related to Avaloq release planning and deployment activities. You will be responsible for managing Avaloq stack releases and improvement projects, preparation of environments and handling of code changes from integration to installation. Our ideal candidate will need to have some experience in Avaloq.

We'll also look for you to demonstrate:

• Execution of all Avaloq release and environment management services Avaloq (ACP, AFP, ACPR) through release lifecycle, e.g. integration of changes and deployment into test environments on IBM and OpenShift stacks
• Close collaboration with Test Management and Release Delivery Services to ensure high quality releases
• Planning and execution of deployment activities including active participation in cutover management
• Support of release management and development related tool set, like rolling out new ICEWorkbench versions, administration and optimization of ADAI stack inclusive of the integration robot; building into the code assistant to ensure coding quality
• Set up and monitoring of ACP and ACPR environments, regular execution of environment health and sanity checks, troubleshooting and resolution of environment issues
